AD Site

Hello,

I successfully setup two AD in two diffrent sites. One AD
site at Seattle called abc.aaa.com and the other site at
vancouver abc.bbb.com. the computer name is the same abc,
and when users join to the domain also the same which is
ddd. My questions are:

1. Is there any problem is the computer domain name which
is ddd are the same for both sites?
2. what about if the computer name abc is the same?
3. I added the sites in AD sites and Services, but i
cannot change the licensing site settings.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Tim,

1. Since these are two different domains in two different sites, there will
be no problem if each domain has a computer account with the same name. So
if I understand you correctly, you will have a computer called
ddd.abc.aaa.com and a computer called ddd.abc.bbb.com. This should be fine.

2. That should be fine as well to have two computers with the same netbios
name in different domains. Ex: abc.abc.aaa.com and abc.abc.bbb.com.

3. If these are separate domains in separate forests then you will not be
able to set the license site settings for both domains.
