AD Secure folder but not files

Hi,

I have a AD network share where in there are several folders containing
subfolders and files. Whereas I'd like to let users do what they want with
the subfolders and files, I'd like to secure the parent folders from being
changed, as in moved or deleted.

Any Suggestions?

Hello zuke,

On the parent level give domain users or better creaete an own "all users
of my domain" group, List folder content and then at the next level you can
give them the rights for theire own "department" folder. To prevent the department
from deleting go to the advanced settings, choose the department group and
you can set the rights for the different folder and file levels (apply to)
like you want.
