Good afternoon,

I extended my 2000 schema with Adprep /forestprep and /domainprep only in
the root domain, (without doing /domainprep in other domains).
I have seen that some people recommend to update to windows 2003 quickly
(within a week) after schema extension.
Is there any reason to do so ? I would like to upgrade my root domain, then
wait a month before doing the other one
and i will also have to extend the schema another time for Exchange 2003.
(any clue on what is the best practice ?)

Thanks in advance

Bruno

Bruno the preparation of the schema can be done at any time, even before the
step to add any Windows Server 2003 Domain Controllers. The Schema can be
extended at any time when the Schema Master is up and running.
