AD / replication Monitoring

Hi
I have two AD servers running as backup to each others. Replications is
working fine at the moment. Now, how do I monitor the replication / AD, can
I do it using SNMP, and how?

I know there is a replication monitor tools, but that seems to be more of a
domain client oriented tool, because I will need to have CDO (an Outlook
component) installed to be able send mail notification.

Any advice please!?

You don't need to run the monitoring tool on one of the dc's. You can run
REPLMON on any machine (Including your client) and you should be able to
have it e-mail you notifications.

There are also WMI scripts written, just Google replication monitor wmi.
