AD Replication ( Another Domain Controller )

i had problem , like i installed on my computer microsft
bvirtual pc trial version and i intalled the 2000 server n
that alos and i have the 2000 server as host OS for
virtual machine and i installed the AD on 2000 server (
HOST OS )
now that virtual computer's os is in the domian and
successfully get into the domain now , while upgrading 2
it as a another doamin controller , the wizard gives me
the error called that , doamin not found , at the very
last screen where the replication begin ...i just wanted 2
know why this is happenig....while putting it in to the
domain .... it successfully find the domian and all other
domain resources but while doing that , it cant find ..
pls give me the answer.

Please make sure the TCP/IP Settings are correct and points to the other
Domain Controller or the server with the DNS zone for Active Directory. You
should be available to ping and resolve the FQDN of the domain name from the
server you trying to Promote to Domain Controller. You may have a look at
