AD display issues

On certain sites such as SBC home page there are items that use to appear.
Now there is just boxes with the word [AD]. If I move my cursor over the box
for a short period of time it will display the information. Many of these
items are not ads. How do I turn this off? I am using XP Home addition.

When I use SlimBrowser instead of IE there is no problem.

Thanks

Hi,

Are you using ZoneAlarm firewall?

If you are, try the following:

Open the ZoneAlarm control panel.
Click on the |Privacy| Panel.
Click on the |Main| tab if it is not already selected.
Under |Ad blocking| set the slider to |off|.
Click on OK.

This should resolve the problem, if you have ZoneAlarm, and you
are using the ad blocking features.

If this isn't the case, please post back with any information on
pop-up blockers or firewalls you may have installed.

Best regards,

Altrus
