Well actually it hasn't resolved my problem. It created one. hehe
This new Ad-Aware Ref File detects an Alexa object on the PC in:

Alexa Object Recognized!
Type : RegValue
Category : Data Miner
Comment : "{c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a}"
Rootkey : HKEY_USERS
Object : .DEFAULT\software\microsoft\internet
explorer\extensions\cmdmapping
Value : {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a}

Soooo.... don't thank me yet! <bg>

Meanwhile, Alexa hasn't been within a country-mile of this PC in years. It
must be a fault in the Def File. I've seen numerous posts on this in the
Lavasoft forum today, but refused to believe it until I was able to do a
scan myself. :-\\
