Acuvue available base curves

Can anybody tell me what base curves are available for the original
Acuvue (i.e., not the 1-day or Acuvue 2) contact lenses in low
negative powers? I can see that Acuvues come in BC 8.4, 8.8, 9.1, and
9.3, but my doctor's assistant told me that the 9.1 and 9.3 are only
available for the positive powers. I have a -2.00 prescription, and
want to know if this is correct.
