I run a sales contest, and in that endeavor I use MS Access, Excel and VB. I
would like to perform the entire process in MS Access (using queries if
possible). What I do is gather sales figures for a salesman on a daily basis
and compare the total sales to-date to a predefined goal. What I want to do
is to determine the day the salesman achieved his goal and from that point
forward calculate a bonus for him based on the sales for the day. The
problem that I have is accumulating an aggregate total and pinpointing just
when the bonus kicks in for each of our 130 salesmen. I can do it using other
Microsoft tools, but I would like to do it all in Access if at all possible.
It looks like to me that I am relegated to a VB program within an Access
module. Am I right?
