Activities button on Contact Tab

It takes forever for Activities to show up when I initiate the Activities
button on the Contact tab. I wonder if I have something incorrectly set up?

Outlook 2007, Dell Inspiron 1.7 Centrino, 1.25mg Ram, 13% hard drive free
 
it normally takes some time when you use it since it is searching for
matches but it's much faster on contacts where you use the feature more
often.
