ActiveX Control could not be added

I tried to register an Active X control, and received this message:
"c:\jts\activex\twx.ocx could not be added/deleted. Install/remove the
control using a separate setup utility."

Is there another setup utility I can use to add the control??

Not exactly a Microsoft Access question but ...

To register a control, try:

Start
Run
then type: regsvr32.exe "c:\jts\activex\twx.ocx"

really Thank you for your quick response. I tried it and got this error:

LoadLibrary("c:\jts\activex\tws.ocx") failed - This application as failed to
start because the application configuration configuration is incorrect.
Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Is that necessary?

I repaired the installation and still received the same error.

All I can tell you is that most likely something needs registering. I got a
similar error today, and it was DAO360.dll that needed registering:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll"
