activeworkbook problems

I have a customer who uses a excel file with a "movedata" macro. He is
using OfficeXP.
The problem we have is this macro has a ActiveWorkbook.SetLinkOnData
line in it.
If he brings up another file (along with the original file) in excel
and makes that the ActiveWorkbook by having it up
then the macro in the original file gives a error when the movedata is
initiated.
Is there another replacement command for ActiveWorkBook.SetLinkOnData ?
Please advise.
