Activesync and Outlook Profile

I moved to a new computer (XP Pro) and am having trouble using Activesync
with my Motorola Q and Outlook 2003. The error message is:

Cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile you are using, because a
different profile was previously set up or the profile is password-protected.
Please open Outlook using the approriate profile

I haven't intentionally password protected any profile ( I seem to have 2 ).
If I delete both profiles and start over, will I lose all my data (old
email, contacts, calendar, etc.) What to do?

I'm getting the same error on my new Vista Notebook while syncing my HP
iPaq....same error code as you got...the Active Sinc icon in the tray has a
small red X on it and I can't figure out how to fix this, I need to sync this
data! Have you got any answer or solution yet? Thanks.
