Active X Error

Hello,
I'm using Outlook 2002 with an Exchange 2003 server.
When I open a received email that has a webpage in the body I get the
following error:

ONE OR MORE ACTIVE X CONTROLS COULD NOT BE DISPLAYED BECAUSE EITHER:

1. YOUR CURRENT SECURITY SETTINGS PROHIBIT RUNNING ACTIVE X CONTROLS ON
THIS PAGE OR

2. YOU HAVE BLOCKED A PUBLISHER OF ONE OF THE CONTROLS.

AS A RESULT, THE PAGE MAY NOT DISPLAY CORRECTLY.

I'm assuming this in related to security settings in IE??

I believe you are correct. Examine IE's security settings. Outlook 2002
uses the IE engine to render HTML.
 
I too am now starting to receive this error on opening e-mails, but I believe
it is because I accidentially clicked on "clear SSL state".

Is there an easier way to "undo" the "clear SSL state" to return to where I
was? Don't really want to reinstall XP.

Where did you click this?
 
In I/E, Tools, Internet Options, Content, Certificates. That is the only
thing I did prior to receiving the error message in e-mails, from sources I
have received from before.

This doesn't seem correct because as far as I can tell, there is no "Clear
SSL" button on that dialogue.

We solved this by going to Internet Explorer: Tools -> Internet Options ->
Advanced. Under Browsing, check the following:
Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)
Disable Script Debugging (Other)
We then shutdown Outlook and brought it back up. When we replied to emails,
the message block no longer appeared. It worked for us, hope it works for
you. I have no idea why that fixed the problem, but it did.
