Active X Component can't create object error 429

I'm usng Access 2003 and I keep getting the following error when I try to
execute a command which requires a popup window or dialog box such as:

database.dbengine.workspaces(0).databases(0)

Error message: Active X Component can't create object error 429

I just starting getting this error after I started downloading and excuting
anti-spyware and adware programs. I even tried reloading Microsoft Office
Professional Edition 2003 and I still get the error.

Can anyone help?

See whether reregistering dao360.dll (which should be in C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO) using regsvr32.exe helps.
