Hi, how do i set up an active link in an email for others to be able to
just click on it to then activate the relevant web page, please.

i normally copy and paste a webpage link into my email, but of course when
you click on it nothing happens and you have to copy and paste it into the
address bar of internet explorer, to get to the page.

In an HTML message in OE: (highlight text) > Insert > Hyperlink

If you paste a link into a Plain Text message (e.g., http://microsoft.com),
recipients /should/ be able to click on the link and open the page in their
browser.

If you're reading all messages in Plain Text (OE Tools > Options > Read >
....), the link may not be "active".

Hi,
I think what you're seeing is that the URL isn't a working hyperlink as
you're composing the message, or have saved it as a draft. That's normal.

Try the copy of the message in the Sent Items folder, or send yourself a
copy. Your recipients are probably seeing a working hyperlink.
