active directory domain local groups

We have a small network setup with two domain controllers.
1: It's unable to see the list of active directory domain
local groups when working from the member servers in the
domain

2:Unable to add global group to a member server local
groups, and i recieve (fileone.gif-attached) during the
process

Anyone from Microsoft....plzzz help me out to solve this
issue

I am not from Microsoft, but it sounds like it may be a dns issue. Run
dcdiag on both domain controllers looking for any problems and run netdiag
on the member server. See link to KB article about dns for more info. ---

Domain local groups will only work on the member server if you are in Native Mode.

I don't see an attachment and wouldn't download if I did. Type out the error message you get when you try to to use
global groups.
