Activation OEM

I purchased Vista Ultimate OEM version a few days ago for my current system,
i'm now having to replace my motherboard, windows automatically activated
itself 2 days ago, as this is oem i know it's tied to the motherboard, but i
havent had vista for a week. When i come to install and activate vista
again, do i need to give MS a call to tell them this?

Yes, you will have to place that call most likely. Remember, If YOU
installed a generic OEM Vista on your computer (not a branded OEM from Dell,
Gateway etc.), YOU are the OEM. Therefore, you have a right to change out
the M/B for your customer (yourself).
