activate controls in powerpoint ot read an email

I apologise for being a noob but I have no idea what the problem is on this
one. I have received an e-mail with a really funky game on it where you have
to put countries in the correct place on a map. When I try to open the
attachment it opens with Powerpoint fine but when opening it says "Powerpoint
controls can't be activated they may not be registered." When it opens it
has a blank screen and closes when you click on it. I have tried downloading
loads of updates and add-ins for powerpoint thinking I needed some control
which was optional to make this program work but it is now fully up to date
and still not working... Can anyone help me please!

It might have macros in it and your macro security it set to HIGH (Tools,
Macro, Security). If so, set it to MEDIUM and try re-opening it up again.
If you still get the message (but it opens), try pressing ALT+F11, clicking
the "Tools" menu and selecting "References". Does it show something
missing? If so, that is the control you will need to get in order to use
this presentation.
