You can't really "import" them into the list of available action buttons,
but you can certainly use any sort of image as an action button. The only
difference is that an Action Button automatically opens the Action Settings
dialog box and has the "Highlight Click" checkbox checked. Any other image
all you need to do is to right-click the object, select "Action Settings",
select the desired action, then make sure the "Highlight Click" is checked.
Works the same!
Any object in PowerPoint can be used as an action button. Insert any
ordinary picture, right click on the picture, and choose Action
Settings. It will work just like an action button. I don't think you
can add your own buttons to the menu for easy adding, but once you get
it on your slide, it can behave just like an Action Button. --David
Virtually anything in PPT can have an action setting applied to it, so any
picture you create and insert can become an action button.
If you want the typical PPT button behavior (ie, it changes appearance when you
click on it, has an automatically assigned default action setting, etc.) then
no, can't do that w/o kidnapping one of the PPT programmers.
If you like the idea of having it "sinking" and "pop out" while clicking. I
would use command button from the Control Toolbox. You can load any image
anytime you like by changing the picture property of the command button
without changing anything else.
