Action buttons and macros - arrrgh!

Hi,
I'm trying to do a "Who wants to be a Millionaire" style of game in
Powerpoint, where the answer selected changes colour when it's clicked
on. I thought recording a macro of changing the text box colour and
attaching it to the relevant text box would do the trick. Doesn't
work though:
- in edit mode the macro works fine when run
- in presentation mode the macro doesn't work at all
- other actions attached to boxes and buttons, such as links to other
slides, work fine, just not the macros
- action settings have been re-checked, security changed to LOW, still
no change.

Am I missing something obvious?

Regards,
Calx

Hi,

Macros recorded in slide mode do not work in slideshow mode.

Macros I record in Normal/Slide view don't work in Slide Show

Now, what version of PowerPoint do you have, because if it is 2002 or 2003,
you could use triggers or maybe more relevant si the jeopardy area for exit
animations.
