ACT! 6.0 import does not add "Account name"

I have successfully imported our ACT 6.0 database of nearly 6000 contacts including notes/histories and opportunities, however we did not use ACT's group feature to group our contacts into accounts. This has meant that the "Account name" field has not been populated during the import.

I don't fancy going through the 6000 contacts to create nearly 3000 account records - does anyone know of any thing I can do to speed up this process?
