ACPI

In a recent post somebody said they were trying to
disable the ACPI function to improve the performance of
their audio recording program. I have an audio recording
program (Cakewalk Home Studio XL 2002) Does disabling the
ACPI in the BIOS really improve the performance?

It should not affect the performance.
