Well, there must be major differences between your system and everybody
elses.
You stated:
When i go to system tools, users, -i see the Master account, and
a unknown account fron 3,5 Gb.....
the Master has not event the rigth to tweak some security
setting, like account disable after a certain number of
password try, account disable for 120 mn, etc, etc, this is all
locked even for master.
Note, you said system tools, users, -i ....
That is why I asked where users appeared ... you stated that users was under
system tools.
You need to be more explicit. What applications are you using and how are
you getting there.
Start Menu ... then what?
Or are you getting there from Windows Explorer?
You switch between System tools, and Control Panel | System tools ...
however on our systems there is no System tools under Control Panel ... just
System.
And how are you getting to local security administration ... under what
application?
Do not understand:
Master is Administratorzy....at buttom, the "else" button is checked,
and in the pulldown there is "administrator".
What "else" button? DOes the button say "else"? This is coming from the
Control Panel | User Accounts screen?
NewScience a écrit :
I've check 5 of our systems and do not have a Users option under System
Tools.
Are you using Start Menu | Accessories | System Tools | Users?
No

there is no Users where you say : i'm until system tools,
but there is - security center, defrag, info system, copy to floppy,
creator for file transfer, disk cleaner, character table... not Users.
And przywracanie systemu, i don't know what this.
Right-click on users and choose Properties and tell us what the pathname
is
(in English).
i can't because i didn't get the "Users" item before.
I take it you login as Master (you say the Master account does not event
(I
suppose you menat even) the right to tweak some security ....). If that
is
true, what is the Account Type for Master (check Control Panel } User >
Accounts) and see what it has for Master.
Master is Administratorzy....at buttom, the "else" button is checked,
and in the pulldown there is "administrator"
By the way, PomXXX must belong to some Group.
Ensure you no
DId you check C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME YOU'RE LOOKING FOR]?
Yes, the name of my friend is there :
Administrator,
All users,
Default user (which is grey)
friend's name.
Is it there ... if not and it does not show up in Local Users and Groups,
then the account you're looking for is probably not a Windows Account.
That is why it is imperative you find out what the pathname of System
Tools
| Users is.
I also look under Control Panel, system tools, local security
administration,
and there it's translated : princip password (i guess policy), princip
of blocking
account, below there is princip local, public keys, ...the rest is
silence
the 4 first item are locked, i can't make any changes, there is a lock
on
the folder icons.
