I'm looking for accounting freeware for a new business I'm starting.

I'd like it to have accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer and
vendor management, inventory control and produce all the needed paperwork
such as a trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, etc.

Other features such as producing invoices and customer contact notes would
be bonuses. I've spent hours searching on google but couldn't find anything
without trialware, adware or nagware.

Thanks Nicki

http://www.freeaccountingsoftware.net/
-says something about free registration on the site
http://www.turbocash-usa.com/
-looks free
http://www.enablecomputing.com/ShowPage.ec?page=OneStepAccounting&menu=OneStepAccounting
-standard edition is free
http://elohai.livejournal.com/
-also looks free

Hope this helps

Thank you for the suggestions.

I tried each site and couldn't get any to work. In OneStep and
FreeAccounting files were missing and I couldn't open it and try it.

TurboCash has a dead link so I couldn't download it. Elohai doesn't seem to
have the functions I need and is difficult to understand.

More suggestions appreciated.

If you are serious about a business and really need all that stuff from gitgo then get serious
and spend a few bucks.

Do you need it to be able to work with your bank in dloading data?

No I don't need to download data from a bank. The other functions I
mentioned (accounts receivable, accounts payable etc) are simple,
straight-forward accounting forms that accounting programs should have.
