account lockout issue- Knowledge base no help

Here is what I have:
2 domains, 1 with a 2k PDC and a nt4.0 bdc the other is a
domain with just a single 2k DC. when the single 2k DC
tries to connect to the other 2k DC i get an account
lockout error. I have checked both time and SP2. any
other suggestions would be great

What are your account lockout settings? From a command Prompt, "net
accounts"

Also do you have users in both domains with the same user name?
