Account Automatically Unlocking and the Security Logs

To Whom Can Help:

When a person locks themselves out of their window domain account, the
security logs indicate a server lock the account out. Why is it then when an
account's lock out interval has elapsed, there are no events in the security
log indicating that the account has been unlocked?
