Accidently deleted internet explorer

when I run a system scan on network diagnostics it shows internet explorer
web proxy not configured. HOw do I undo this mess? I tried to restore to
an earlier point

Why do you believe your "internet explorer web proxy" needs to be
configured?

Please explain your actual problem - as your subject says one thing, your
message body another.

I found out i had the problem when my icon for the internet was gone and I
couldnt get to it from my start menu either.
So, I copied the internet explorer icon from my desktop on to a storage
device and put it on to my labtop (the one with the problem) Now the only way
I can use the internet is if i run without ad ons.

Go here and run this script, it will restore the IE desktop Icon.
