Hello,

In Windows XP Professional SP1 I've accidently changed the
security permissions for the harddisk (C-Drive) for
the 'everyone'group. I've disabled all the rights for the
everyone group under the security tab of the harddisk. And
when I clicked OK all the desktopitems dissappeard and the
only thing that was left was to log-out. And now Windows
XP isn't starting anymore, the Windows XP flash screen
appears and then I receive a error message that
says 'autochk not found, skipping autochk' and then the
computer begins to restart continously. All of the start
options doesn't work. Can someone help me out of this
problem? my e-mail address is: (e-mail address removed)

With best regards,

What file system(s) are you running on the machine? Do you have a repair diskette?
