Accidentally deleted Outlook profile

Need some help from someone smart....

I was having trouble with my Outlook (syncing with Activesync, closing
properly, etc.) I had tried Xobni..liked it but decided it may have
been part of the problem. So i uninstalled it. Then I was totally
unable to open Outlook. Period. Searched for a solution, and found
out how to go to regedit, and change the registry profile. I didn't
see any warning that I would lose my Outlook files (emails, contacts,
calendar), so I proceeded. Good I am now able to use Outlook
again. Bad all old emails are gone. I was able to recover
calendar via my Google calendar sync, and my contacts via my smartphone
sync. But all emails are gone.

Does anyone know of a process to recover emails from this process?

The mail is still there in the data file, probably named outlook.pst
Within outlook, File>Open>Data File...browse to and open it.

PS There is no registry hack required to delete or creat a new profile, you
simply use the mail applet in the Control Panel. Niether does
uninstall/Reinstall do anything for a corrupt profile.
Obviously you failed to look at any of the numerous Outllook help sites or
MS for a solution
