Accidental System Restore

I accidentally used System Restore, not knowing I would lose ALL of my data,
anyway to reverse it?

You are not referring to System Restore, which has no effect on your data,
but to the recovery method provided by your computer's manufacturer to
return the computer to the way it was when it left the factory. That method
begins with erasing everything on the hard disk. Everything that was not
backed up is permanently gone, absent a very expensive trip to a
professional data recovery outfit.

go to system restore again and try to undo your last restoration. hopefully
it will work for you.

System restore will not loose 'all' your data. It will only loose what
applications you installed 'after' the restore point you are restoring to.

System restore also has the option to return your pc to the previous state,
so you can use system restore to restore the system back to the most recent
date prior to you using it this particular time.

You don't elaborate on what you mean by 'all' data. If you have lost the
operating sytem along with all your files you obviously used something
entirely different to system restore - the question is what? I doubt you
have reformatted the drive because, a) you would not be able to do this from
within XP, b) using win 98 startup disks would only reformat if you were
running FAT32 files system, c) to reformat you will need to give the
computer the relevant command.
