Accesslinks function

I'm trying to use an Access form to enter data in an excel worksheet. I am
able to convert the date from Excel to Access, and have loaded the add-in
AccessLink to Excel 2002 (on Windows XP).

However, when I go to Data>MS Access Forms I get the error box:
'Unexpected error creating Microsoft access Form or Report"

Any idea what's going on??
Are there any instructins for how to perform this function?

Thanks,
Barbara

Thaks shane, makes sense. Is there an opinion as to whether to create in
Excel and then Accesslink to the form....Or to just create in Access and
link back to Excel??
I'm workin with a large Excel information spreadsheet (no formulas-- just a
big old database that I inherited...). There are too many people entering
and messing with the data, so want to create forms for data entry. I'm
thinking that Access might be the best way to go, because then I can sort and
display only specific pieces to specific people. But then there's a
learning curve with the staff who've never used Access. I don't want to go
thru all the work of creating a new Access database, when just leaving it in
Excel and adding a few 'accesslinks' might do the trick.
Any suggestions??
thanks,
Barbara
