Accessing share with user already tried

I have a laptop where it is a member of a domain, but it is in remote. It
connects to the main network by the built-in Microsoft VPN.

I'd like to map network share, but I'd get the error pictured below.

What I did was:
1. Logon to the laptop using domain account (not the local machine account)
2. Connect to VPN
3. Map a share, it will prompt user name and password.

If I use a different account, it works. I verified that the problem account
is not locked out, expired or disabled.
How can I fix this?

You may want to use net use command to cache credentials. This link may
help.

Cached CredentialsWindows Cache Credentials. The credentials supplied
conflict with an existing set ... 2) You are connecting to a VPN. 3) You
have used Reconnect at logon. ...

Thanks, I ended up using the net use command. It does seem to work.
What could cause such thing, it's only on one laptop.

I think I'm going to take that laptop off the domain since it's used in a
remote from home.
