accessing restricted folders on a mounted drive

I had an XP operating sytem failure on a boot drive that
cannot be repaired. I am able to mount the drive as a
dynamic drive off of another XP bootable drive and can
see all folders/files with access to all folders/files
except those that required "user login" e.g. "my
documents" which reflect "access denied". I know the
user name/password is there any way to access these
files/folders.
