Is there a way to access a Windows XP's registry so that I can make changes
remotely?

Thanks,
Enrique

Start -> Help and Support, search on "Remote Desktop".

Or get VNC, UltraVNC, TightVNC, or some other VNC derivative. Maybe
Symantec is still selling their PC Anywhere product.

You also can access the registry with a networked computer through its
registry.

Hi Enrique,

Thanks for posting!

My understanding on the issue is: you want to know how to access and change
a Windows XP's registry remotely. If I have misunderstood your concerns,
please feel free to let me know.

I agree with William, you may access remote registry by its Registry
Editor. Registry Editor supports remote access to the Windows registry;
however, you can also restrict this access.

--Click Start, Click Run, type "Regedit" (without quotation mark)

--Click File menu, Click File, Click Connect Network Registry.

Note: The Security permissions that are set on this key define which Users
or Groups can have remote registry access.

For more detailed information, please refer to the following article:

I hope my information helps. If there is anything that is unclear, please
feel free to let me know.

Thanks & Regards,

Jason Tan
