Accessing Access files through Excel

I have a Worksheet in Excel set up to log all the parts needed for jobs, but
my inventory list list is in Access. Is there a way that I can link them to
allow Excel to modify data in Access and visa versa?

you may consider using 'Data - import External Data'. BUT changes in
Excel won't change Access if you're suing this way.
Another option would be in Access to link 'File - Import data' an Excel
spreadsheet
