Hi All,

Couple of questions,

1) Is there a update\patch to make Access00 compatible
with Access02.

2) Is Access03 compatible with Access02

Thanks in advance!

By default Access 2002 and 2003 use the Access 2000 file format. This will
allow you to move back and forth between the versions. There are a few
exceptions though.

1) If, in your file, you use functionality from the newer version that
doesn't exist in the older version. (i.e. if I remember correctly, Access
2000 doesn't have pivot charts).

2) If you are making an mde file. There can be some compatibility problems
here because of the mde file locking down the library references and them
needing to be changed to match the version of Access the file is being run
on.

3) There may also be some compatibility problems with the Runtime version,
but they are probably along the line of problem #2.
