I have a machine that will not let you open any reports in any mode. You can
open and run anything else in the database. If you click a command button to
open a report it tells you "The OpenReport action was canceled." You try to
open it in design view and it does nothing. I repeat you can open anything
else in design view or form view but reports. This database front works on
any other machine so I don't think it's the front end. Is there some setting
that has been changed or what? HELP!!

That is what happens when the PC has no printers set up.

This laptop has 4 printer installed. So I don't think thats the problem

Is one of the printers set as the default printer? Just because they are
installed does not mean one has been specified as the default.

If one is the default, then try making one of the others the default
printer.

The symptoms you describe are usually due to (1) no printer as the default
or (2) printer driver incompatability with Access.
