Access XP, system.mdw

hi,
i have access 2000 database which is use workgroup security. one computer
has access XP and try to find the system.mdw so i can replace with mine but
i am not able to find it.
i run full search on hard drive but i didn't find system.mdw.

if anyone know where to find it, or how apply the system.mdw on Access XP
......
 
You shouldn't even attempt to replace the standard system.mdw on the
computer. It is required by Access for non-secured databases.

You can simply copy your secure mdw to some folder on the computer, and then
start the secure mdb using a desktop shortcut. The target would look like:

"path to msaccess.exe" "path to mdb" /wrkgrp "path to mdw"

You could also just put the mdw on a server that all users have access to,
and change the shortcut above to point to the server location. That way
you'll have only one mdw file to manage.
