Access XP can create Access 2000 MDE ?

I have an customer that I created a database for in 2002-2003. I gave him a
mde file but he got a "the visual basic for Applications project in the
database is corrupt" error while trying to use it. He's using a previous
version of access (Access 2002). What is the easiest thing for me to do to
fix this problem? I want to use the mde feature becuase it is simple to take
the data and import it into my master database, make format changes to the
database update his and send out a new copy, what do I do?

You will have to obtain a copy of ACCESS 2002 and make the .mde file for
your customer in that version. You can edit / develop in ACCESS 2003 (using
2002/2003 file format), and then open the file in 2002 and make an .mde
(provided, of course, that you're not using any features from 2003 that are
not available in 2002).
