Access XP and templates

One of the templates in Access XP is a Asset tracking.
I am using this template and when it gets to the reports there is an error.
No specific error, just an error, and none of the reports are there.
Any help would be appreciated.

_Something_ must have happened for you to be able to determine that there
was an error. Describe what the symptoms were, what you were doing at the
time ("when it gets to the reports" is not very specific), and perhaps
someone can help. (It likely won't be me as I have never used that
template.)

When I go to create the database from the template I get an error that says:
"There was a problem building the form or report." I get that for every
report that it trys to create.
When all is said and done, there are no reports in the database. I've done
a repair of the MS Office install with the same results. I go to another
machine with Office XP on it and it works fine. One of the biggest
differences between the 2 machines is that mine has all the office service
packs and the one that does create the reports does not have all the service
packs loaded.
