access Wont Start

i have MS Office 2003 Professional installed. whenever i start MS Access, the
windows installer dialog comes up, saying it is configuring MS Access. The
progress bar loads, then the dialog goes away. i expect MS Access to launch
then, but it doesnt. i tried a lot of times. all the other applications start
normally without the dialog showing up first. PS my Office is legit, its not
cracked.
