Access Violation

Just wondered if anyone could help me. My PC has started showing me the followng message everytime I go to shutdown:
"HOTKEY KEYBOARD, Access violation at address 004421F0. Read of address 41D873FC." Then I get told that my PC is not responding and when I End Task my PC shuts down anyway

I would be grateful if anyone could tell me what this means and how to remedy it
