In order to interface with access, do you have to have the whole program or
is there a viewer for those people who don't program it but use the user
interface to input and review data?

Thanks,
Jasper

There are programs that can view the data, but not the forms etc. There
is a special form of the program (runtime version). It is designed and part
of the special professional version of Access and it can be distributed with
access files so they can be used without the regular Access program and all
at no additional cost. However that professional (developer's) version of
Access is not cheap.

To add to what Joseph said, there is another possibility. You could
create Data Access Pages which would allow users to interact with the
database using a web browser.

True. One of these days I will have to give it a try and then maybe I
will remember about that option. Professionally I only had the need once
and in that case I don't think it was going to end up being practical, but I
never researched it enough.
