Is there such a thing as an Access viewer? I have a little access form that
uses an ODBC connection to an external database to query some information.

Is there a viewer that could run this little form or do you need the full
version of Microsoft access for it to work?

Thanks,
Jasper

There is a runtime version of Access, which comes at extra cost in the
Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003 System, and in the Office Developer
Editions of earlier Office releases. It is not free, and many would say, not
even cheap -- but there is no "per user" charge.

For viewing reports, you can save them in Snapshot format, and the users can
download a free Snapshot Viewer... but all you can do is look at Reports...
it will not run Forms, as you need to do. There are also third-party
software packages and Adobe Acrobat that will generate .PDF files, which can
be read with the free Acrobate Viewer.
