The book that got me underway was "15 hour weekend crash course Access 2000
programming" by IDG. I came by it by chance and keep it on the shelf for
reference.
Just a word of warning, I am completely self taught and am not exactly sure
if this is what you are looking for. It introduced me to VBA and activex in
a form. I then read ADO for dummies and Understanding ActiveX and OLE by
Chappell put out by Microsoft Press.
