I've just upgraded my motherboard, cpu, and graphics
card. To do this I decided that I would do a clean
install of Windows on an empty hard drive and then copy
over all my old files.
I now have the system set-up and after many problems
trying to get the jumper settings correct on the hard
drives I now have access to my old drive.
However I can't get into the My Documents on the drive as
I get an "Access Denied" error.
I'm assuming that this is due to it being a different
account. I tried booting in safe mode and logging in as
administrator, and even tried setting up an account with
the old name but I can't get access.
I have lots of important files on that drive including
many photos of my family and friends. How can I get
access to them?
