Hi

I have bought a new hard drive and installed XP Home on it but cant access
my "My Documents" Folder from the old hard disk. Message is "Access Denied".
I also cant start up from other drive as XP is not working on that drive
anymore. What can I do to access the files? They are REALLY important
documents.

Hi,

See if taking ownership helps:

Note this one from KB308421:

If you are running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, you must
start the computer in safe mode, and then log on with an account
that has Administrative rights to have access to the Security tab.
