Access report; Cosstab query

I am building a report based on a crosstab query. I am finding that, as I
build the report, there is a significant delay between initiating an action
such as selecting a box, moving a box or changing a property and the action
taking place. So, if I click on a textbox to select it, I have to wait
several seconds before the selection actually takes place. So, building this
report has become more a test of my patience than anything else.

Any ideas?

This shouldn't happen if you set the Column Headings property of your
crosstab query.
