Access Query for keeping a total hours remaining.

I work for a consulting firm and trying to create a database that keeps a current ammount of support hours remaining. Here's the scenario.

I want to be able to enter a work order or a payment for block time. I need the database to subtract or add hours based on a work order entry or block time purchase. I can create the form for entry for both. What I'm having trouble with is building a query that will display the current number of hours remaining for a given client on a form.

Any help is appreciated
